Thews is a union shop, located near the Pendleton Airport and serves Northeast Oregon and Southwest Washington. Thews is looking for an experienced service technician able to work on gas, oil, electric, water source heat pumps, heat pumps, gas fireplaces, and mini-split systems.
Install, rebuild, replace or repair: fans, motors, thermostats, fuses, filters, bearings, valves, controls, gaskets, and other equipment as necessary. Maintain a log of tasks performed and write reports as required. Perform other duties as assigned including installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation, air conditioning systems and equipment. Identify maintenance risks on equipment. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for commercial and residential HVAC systems. Need to have good driving record and pass drug test.
